And she's knowledgeable of some forms of martial arts and close combat. Her average height and appearance is like that of a teenager. Her relationship with the Crystal Gems such as Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl would pretty much be like the same as she would treat any other fellow Gems, with thoughtful kindness and friendliness. Her weapon by the way is magically summoned by her topaz gem stone that's embedded in the back of her neck. But in battle or self-defense, her character switches to being generally tough and unrelenting, not being afraid to pull out her 'summon weapon', a Dadao/Katana-like sword, to protect others and cleave away baddies. To put her in short, she is very kind and caring, and always likes to generously help others when in need. And since the imagination of that particular thing will soar for any fan of the show (like me), I've decided now to hop on to the bandwagon of fan-artists and makers of Crystal Gem OCs while it's still riding.Īnd here's my OC that is based off of my birth-stone, Topaz. But it is implied that there are other Crystal Gems out there, whether on other worlds or on different parts of the Earth that they solely protect. And then there's Steven who is the fourth member of the group, and that's it. There's also the outgoing and wild-spirited Amethyst who is the third member, though she's mostly just a secondary favorite. And that's pretty much the whole series in a nutshell, I suggest to go give it a look to see more.īut to add in a bit more details, the Crystal Gems themselves are really unique in characteristics, my most favorite member is still in balance between the strong and disciplined British-accented Garnet and the gentle and agile Twilight-Sparkle-esque Pearl. I've recently become a big fan of the new 'crown jewel' of Cartoon Network called Steven Universe, which (in case some people don't know) is a action/comedy cartoon show about a group of magical world-protecting female beings known as the Crystal Gems and their newest recruit, Steven Universe, a juvenilely-inoccent minded human kid who is in training as their first (and possibly only) male member of the group.
